Damage Claim Policy

1. Introduction
Moving Masters Inc. is committed to handling customer belongings with care and professionalism. While we take every precaution to prevent damage during moving and transportation, customers must follow the procedures below for any damage claims.
2. Reporting Damage
Any loss or damage must be reported immediately after the completion of the move.Claims submitted after this period will not be eligible for review or compensation.
Customers should provide:

Clear photographs of the damaged item(s)

Description of the damage
-
Date of the move
-
Moving address details
-
Copy of invoice or receipt if available
CLAIMS MUST BE SUBMITTED BEFORE THE MOVING MASTERS TEAM LEAVES THE PLACE. (RIGHT AFTER COMPLETION OF MOVE)
3. Inspection Process
Moving Masters Inc. reserves the right to inspect any claimed damaged item before approving compensation or repairs.
Customers should not dispose of damaged items until the claim process is completed. If you dispose damaged item then the claim will not be issued in that matter.
4. Items Not Covered
The following may not be covered under this policy:

Pre-existing damage
-
Items packed by the customer
-
Fragile items not properly disclosed
-
Internal damage to electronics unless externally visible at delivery
-
Perishable goods
-
Plants
-
Cash, jewelry, or important documents
-
Particle board furniture susceptible to normal moving stress
-
Damage caused by improper assembly from previous owners
5. Customer Responsibilities
Customers are responsible for:

Properly preparing items for the move
-
Informing movers about fragile or high
-
value items before the move begins
-
Ensuring all items are checked upon delivery
For high-value items, customers may be asked to arrange additional insurance coverage.
6. Limitation of Liability
Moving Masters Inc. will review all claims fairly and may choose to:

Repair the item
-
Replace the item
-
Offer reasonable compensation based on the item’s current value
Compensation amounts may be limited based on the condition, age, and market value of the item.
7. False or Fraudulent Claims
Any intentionally false, misleading, or fraudulent claims may result in denial of the claim and possible legal action.
